School of Population Health Alumni
The John D. Bower School of Population Health's mission is to provide world-class graduate training to prepare the next generation of scientists and health care professionals to improve the health of individuals, populations, and communities through enhancing health care systems and health policies.
The Bower School of Population Health is housed in one of several academic medical centers that offer a degree in this field, and it has been designed to complement, strengthen and extend the capacity for scholarship across UMMC. We assist in achieving the institutional missions by supporting rigorous approaches to investigation and education in the areas of patient outcomes, quality, new business and financial models, and health care delivery.
The Bower School of Population Health positions UMMC to be a value-driven organization that can lead health care transformation, scholarship and implementation for the future.
